Belltech it is !!!!!!!!!!! Need Advice !!!

After long extensive research i think i am going belltech struts with sp shocks and use a belltech flip kit for the rear . My problem , i have 24inch wheels and only need a 4inch drop in the rear.Do you guys think that using a 2inch lifting shackle to bring it up to a 4inch drop would be a bad idea? Has anyone tried this out? I looked at changing the leafs and going with a 3 inch leaf and 1 inch shackle but i have been told it will ride rough , plus bottoming out issues . Any thoughts ???

I have a 6/8 drop on my truck running 22 Harley wheels on 265/35 tires and the ride is smooth and a lot better then stock.

I do not have any rubbing problems up front and on back my tires rub the fenders a little, since my bed is fiberglass I used some sand paper and I no longer have issues.

btw im running a flip kit and shackles on the rear
and belltech struts up front set at 1 inch drop, 3 inch djm control arms and 2 inch belltech spindles

hope that helped a little but if your going to be running a flip kit I think your fine unless you have beefy tire on the 24s.

If you want 4" of drop in the rear, that is the only way to go. If you change the bump-stop to a shorter one and/or add airbags, you won't have as much worry about bottoming out. If you're resigned to your truck never being used as a truck, don't worry about airbags.

From my experience, I would not use a flip-kit. I did it, and the results were a truck that couldn't haul or tow much. I took it back off and put some lowering shackles and airbags on it. I've been happy since.

I'm flipped and helper bag...and I haul(2 motorcycle, contruction debris, etc) and tow as normal(7000lbs toyhauler with more then 1000lbs on the hitch)...and the truck never skat in the rear(airbag)

No way I would go 6/8 whitout full on air bag suspension.
