04-08 Kits?
04-08 Kits?
I'm looking to lower my truck. I was going to do the 2/3 Eibach and use my GF 2 drop shackles with it and ProDampers, well now eibach doesnt offer that kit or the rear leaf. I am kinda lost now. Want to keep all the same parts, reading on Belltech, they have options of front strut which is pricey or front coil, and rear 3'' leaf option or kit with rear shocks.
Would like Ground Force kit but not looking to drop a grand on this, would a kit of belltech coils and rear leafs with eibach prodampers be ok? Only leaf option is Belltech or Ground Force, thought of going with Belltech its cheap and its 3 inches, then their the front coils to match, combo would be $400ish maybe, then add prodampers.. any advice would be much appreciated, wanting to do 2-3/4-5 drop total, not spend a ton, def want to replace shocks and struts.

I have the beltech 3" coils on my 08 and they are a much stiffer ride. If I had it to do over I wouldn't have done coils. I'm running 23s with a 40 series tire and I don't get any rubbing due to the stiffness however a 2" softer spring would have been a better option.
Thanks for the reply, yeah I am scared of a to stiff ride. Ive really heard good things on Eibachs Dampers, so I want to somehow implement them in this setup, thinking of them plus eibach front spring and belltech rear leafs..
I have Belltechs 3/5 kit 908SP. Came with everything and the ride is amazing. Not stiff at all but an improvement over stock offering less body roll and more confidence. The front is adjustable from stock to a 3" drop in 1/2" incriments.
Heres the 908SP I have pictured below. The 914SP comes with everything you see here except the springs.

Keep an eye out for the Eibach leafs, they pop up on ebay, craigslist, and even here every once in a while
I have the Eibach coils and leafs and I do not think it is too stiff, rides great even with 285/35/22 nitto nt555's
I have not heard a lot about the Belltech leafs, only things I have heard though have been positive. Just stay away from McGaughy leafs, they have been known to break.
Check out my thread that is stickyed to the top of the street scene section(also in my signature)

Belltech has a kit for the front that is adjustable from a 3"drop to a 2" lift, using the stock spring and collars on their strut with a lowered spring pocket. The stock ride is maintained due to the use of the stock springs. This setup worked great for me.

Thanks just looked over this thread. Still undecided on how I want to further mod my truck. How hard was the install of the rear axle flip? Can anyone compare the pros to drop leafs to flip kit. Id imagine the flip kit would actually handle and ride better?
I like the idea of belltech front struts for 2 inch drop, then figuring out the rear ..

If you send me your email address I can email you the Belltech instructions
