How to lower rear of Expedition some more?

I have been thinking about droppin the Expy a little more, The front end, and parts for it are self explanatory= they are the same as a f150. But the rear has a coil spring instead of leafs. I am running a 4in drop spring which is the lowest offered.

I have thought about cutting a coil off but they are small on the top and bottom and get fat er going towards the middle

Has anyone experimented with one of these?

How much room do you currently have between the axle and the frame?

If you have the physical room to go lower in the rear as Patman is asking about, you could potentially fabricate new upper mounts that are higher on the frame. At some point soon though I would think you would need to start looking at adverse effects on your pinion angle.

I havent measured but with the bump stops removed axle will hit frame on one dip on the highway to work,

Patman how much rear drop do you have and any driveline issues?

I have had a guy tell me to move the upper mounts higher but havent looked at them yet

I have a 5/7 drop, I have done drastic modifications to get the axle to clear everything under the truck.
