Well lately ive been considering doing something like a 3.5/6 drop on my 07 fx4. So it will sit pretty close to a 2/4 drop on a 2wd truck. Im looking for some opinions on tire brands and sizes that would work cosmetically and without rubbing. Problem is i have 18x9 wheels and want a more street performamce type of tire to help gain traction because of the blower. I really liked the nitto 420s but biggest it comes in is 255/55r18 which im afraid is to small? Falken also makes this tire in a 265/60r18 which is another one easy on the pocket book and is a little taller. i will probably only do the drop if i can find decent tires around the price range of the 2 above models. $150-$180ish.

Anybody have tire suggestions?

I really like the stance of Stealths truck here with the 2/4 drop and tire combo. I just need more street performance oriented tire.
