estimated cost

so I recently picked up a 2004 Ford Ranger from my sister and I want to lower it. I always thought bags would be cool so I am wondering what a rough estimate would be to install bags and is there a kit out there that is all bolt on?? I have installed lifts and lowering kits before so I can do it but I am no welder and I would rather not pay someone to install a kit if there is one out there that is bolt on. Thanks for the help guys!

thanks for the link, it looks to me like the whole set up is not a bad price but it does not say if bags are included. It specifically mentions them not being included in the cantilever system but does not say with the entire kit

Bags are not included in the kits.

Bags are 50-100 bucks a piece I believe

can't go wrong with the KP rear kit. Love mine.

Pair KP's rear kit with Michigan Metal Works (MMW) Front kit and that ranger will be in the weeds and done right!!! Its best not to half *** bagged trucks and just do it right the first time. Take it from me, I would of saved thousands upon thousands had i just done it right the first time.

Go ahead...but be sure you don't have a torsion bar front suspension!

If so: Forget about lowering it, unless you plan to completly change the front suspension.

Go with AirLift Dominator 2500lb bags, 1 or 2 Viair 480's, a 5 gallon or more tank, 3/8 Valves (Accuair VU4) is what i'm using. DOT PTC fitting, can be bought online or from a hydraulic supply store, and thats pretty much it.

Check out other forums for used stuff, like rangerpowersports or s10forum you can always pick up stuff on there for cheap.

Damn! I wish i knew of MMW's raised uppers kit when I did my build. Would have saved me many hours of fab work and headache! And I still didnt get it just right. But it is my only bagged vehicle.

I wish i knew about there control arms! Still ended up buying em, but would of been great to just get them from the beginning.

I've been running Ektensive's bolt in UCA brackets for over a year now, they work just fine so i'm going to stick with them.
