lightning wheels on lowered truck?

i have a 2000 f150, regular cab flareside. im planning on lowering it 5/7. ive already got started on this, but im going to lower the front with spindles, so im gonna need 18"s.

im looking to pick up a used set of wheels off a lightning for now, but i want to make sure that they wont stick out too far and hit the fenders when the truck is lowered. i already know that im going to have to remove the fender liners

any information is greatly appreciated. thanks

You will be fine as long as you don't have a huge tire

Patman03SprCrw has 20" lightning replicas with a 5/7 drop and has no issues I can think of.

Those wheels will tuck fine. I'd run the stock L size tire 295/45/18. Also you'll have to get an svt lca steering stop or the rim will scrape at full lock.
