I like this look alot. Now I really can't wait to get mine installed since it's all laying in my garage. Did you install it yourself and if so how hard was it to install? The biggst concern I had was cutting the openings bigger for the lower control arms to get the correct alignment.

i didnt install it myself. i had the shop behind my work do it. they have been around for years doing custom suspension setups. it took them all of about 6 hours with alignment. good luck and post pics!

Hey Greg

Just actually read your post. I had the same concerns about the notching of the lower control arms. Here is the deal If you are handy with air tools an angle die drinder will do the job with ease. You will need to get a high speed cutting bit. Make sure when you are marking the notch that the original bolt is tight up against the side you are going to cut. Then use a marking device of your choice and mark around the exzisting bolt, remove the bolt I think it says 3/8 of an inch in the directions, so if you like to check yourself. Get something to measure with and measure the distance between the currrent openings leading edge to you mark. If that mark is good, take your time because you have 8 to do. If you go in there like a mad man you will probably f it up. If you take your time and let the cutting tool do its job it will come out just fine. Good luck on whatever you decide I did mine and I am happy I did. I know what they wanted me to do and I know I did it. It gives me piece of mind and a few more buck in my pocket just my 2 cents

You can go right on BellTech's website and look at the instructions. That's what I did before I ordered the kit.

Thanks hlbbig69 for the info. I was thinking about doing it myself but the only thing that concerns me is the notching of the frame. I am going crazy cause I have the kit and a set of 24's just sitting in my garage.

sounds good. i am trying to decide on tire size right now. torn between the 285/35/22 and the 285/40/22 with the 3/5 drop. my main concern is the tires rubbing. Milt IV reports no rubbing with the 275/55/20 which is 31.91inches tall, the 285/35/22 is 29.9 inches and the 285/40/22 31.1 i read that someone with this same belltech drop had minor rubbing with 285/45's which are 32.1 inches tall. the 2011's wont be here for a little while so i will keep up my research then begin gathering parts! i am right of 121 and hebron, and keep a fridge full of beer so i may invite you out for a hand if your offer still stands when i get going on this. thank you.

god bless.

That would have been me, but the trimming I had to do was only on the drivers side. On the front side of the inner fender well. I trimmed a piece that was about 5 inches long and about 1/2 inch wide. Icut it with my craftsman multi cutting pliers they cut hoseand plastic supper easy took about 5 min and the tool cuts with a razor blade so it look stock nice clean smooth cut. I have 285 45 22 on a 22x9.5 rim hope this helps. Just my tow cents
