In my quest to be different then everyone else, I couldn't just go for a stock headlamp so I built these for my ride. In addition to the custom made led halos I also tinted the turn signal lens and painted the lamp barrels Lexus Black Pearl to match the tu-tone on my truck.

What do you guys think?

Its a kit I designed....so I guess I bought them from myself.

 

I still have a few more things to do to the truck before they can be permanently installed, but today I'm heading into the shop to paint the front bumper and grille so I can put it all together tomorrow for a photo. I'm going to wire the halos off a separate switch. I only plan to use them at dusk or at shows.

On the next set of lamps I build, I plan to retrofit a set of Lexus projectors into the mix along with a led turn signal strip on the lower front edge of the lamp.

Ok so I din't have much time today to work on my truck but I threw on the custom bumper / grille and lights so you guys can get an idea of how she will look once its done. I also just got in a wrecked 07 Range Rover Sport that has two broken headlamps....so maybe now my next set of custom lamps will be sporting some projectors.
