still think a straight axle in 2011 (or 2005-2010) is ridiculous. based on my trials and tribulations with gm, i'd probably buy a challenger if i were in that market.

 

tsk tsk. well this car is there with the 6.2L SS camaro. actually beats it out, but it's cuz the maro is heavier. glad to see the 5.0 back tho! last one was a baby compared to this one tho. what was it like 289, 276 hp or something like that? under 300 i know

 

i've got a 01 gt and that gen ran out at 260 if you weren't a cobra or a bullit, not sure about the plain jane v8 s197s. i'll have to admit i'd take a bit of heft for comfort over lean and mean at this point, was looking at old school SLs and SLKs before i bought the gt.

 

dont know bout you, but i'd be perfectly comfortable in the GT haha

 

The new Ford Mustangs look awesome, and they are being designed and built without taxpayer bailout dollars, unlike the losers at GM and Chrysler. Honestly GM and Chrysler should have been allowed to go bankrupt. Thanks, Obama and your dipwad cronies!

The mustang is back!...............Finally! I would love to have a new 5.0. Mod it out and blow away the competition.

 

My boss has one. They are truely amazing cars off the showroom floor.

We went road racing in Tulsa with it. He had nothing more than lowering springs and a sticky tire. When I road with him we started in the front of group 1 and the entire 15-20 minute session we were never passed and by the end of the session ended up lapping 3 cars. I think I left pucker marks in his passenger seat after that run.

A few weeks later he took it to the drag strip. On this trip it had an SCT tuner and slicks and pulled off a 12.22 @ 111mph Cooler air and the car would be in the 11's no doubt.

the 2011 v6 is 305 hp the v8 is 412 hp

 

I saw probably a dozen 5.0L 2011 in Edmonton two weeks ago nice looking car thats for sure. All three dodge, chevy and ford put out a nice car now to compete with each other.
