Can anybody explain what it does in lamans terms? What would happen if you took it off?

 

it helps keep the vehicle level during turns.

I took my front bar off after i went to 5" drop up front, not enough room to fit it under my truck, and being 5" lower then stock I significantly lowered my center of gravity so the truck doesnt want to lean and roll over in turns with or without it.
