Time for a little work!!

I could have posted this in the 04-08 section but usually im always in the street scene area so its going in here.

Recently me and the girl friend got a 19x25 storage unit with heat and power for storing and working on the trucks so the first project is her truck we are converting her STX over to a console shift we are pulling all the interior pieces out and putting down fatmat and installing a dash and console out of a FX4 into the truck along with her new sub enclosure and a installing a carpet.

So here are a few pictures from todays work.

Out comes the seats

No more vinyl floor!

Start the sound deadening

Inside of the rear doors.

Back wall all done just got the floor and front doors to go and then we will start running all the wires for the stereo.

For the console and dash pieces are from a local guy that wrote off his truck and I know the adjuster so they let me go in a strip the dash and console out. The nice part is its a fx4 so all the stuff between the vents is black on grey like it is currently so nice score for her. all of the silver coloured stuff on the dash and the enclosure is going black with a purple pearl and the silver on the console is just going black so if it gets scratched its easy to fix.

Well forgot my camera tonight but got the tunnel and the back of the floor done just have to do the footwells and were the seats bolt down. Next to be removed is the dash. But before that I have to lower my buddies 04 STX 3/5 in the unit so the black truck has been put on hold. Plus I ran out of Fat Mat and have to wait tell the end of the week tell it shows up.

Finally started working on the truck again as me and the girl friend are no longer together but we are getting along pretty well. We got the new dash swapped out this weekend the whole cab is fatmatted, carpet is in. Hopefully by this weekend everything is installed see how busy I am this week. Im going to get pictures tomorrow and get them posted so you guys can see it and the sub enclosure all finished up.
