Ordered my 3/5 kit and bags today.
Got it all done, the tank filled up to 90 psi and pop!!! The line coming directly out of the compressor got too hot and blew a hole in it. Have to replace that tomorrow with some heavier hose.
Anyway, with the tank at 90 psi I decide to push the button to fill the bags, I still have 1/4" lines running to the bags even though I have 1/2" valves, I'll replace the lines to the bags this weekend, but anyway I push the button and the back of the truck raised alot quicker than I expected with only 1/4" line. I can't imagine how quick it will be once I get the 1/2" lines ran. All in all I'm happy with it.
Maybe next year I can afford to get some 20's or 22's and put bags on the front.

I am confused post a pic of your compressor. You should have a metal braided leader hose with a check valve for your compressor. A peice of hose will never ever hold up to the heat of a compressor head. Also you dont want the air to bad feed thru your head of your compressor so a check valve is needed.
Another thing if you like the speed of your bags dont switch the line. I would never ever recommend 1/2" on 1/2" to anyone. I have 3/8" and 3/8" and ended up putting slowdowns on because i didnt like how fast it drops. But then again i drag so i didnt want it to drop so fast and hit the ground going 70mph.

yeah look up viair compressors. You pay more but you pay for what you get. I got 2 viair 444s with the relays and other stuff for $266 shipped to my house. www.hornblasters.com has good prices and fast shipping. You will defiantly needs a steel braided line or a hydraulic line
use teflon tape just make sure you be careful and dont get none over the fitting hole. Just make sure it all stays on the threads. Quick question what size tank, and psi are you taking that comp to??? Also how is your setup in back? are you running a tru bag setup that lays out, or still have the leaf springs? The reason i ask is because i am worried about you not having enough air.
I used teflon tape but was hoping there was something better. I did wrap it the correct way, learned that years ago.
1 gallon tank, filling it to 120 psi. I fill the bags to 10-15psi at ride height. I have the leaf springs with flip kit and shackles set at the 1" lowered position. I typically just set it to ride height and drive. I'm not going up and down while driving, just occasionally show somebody that it will go up and down.
Just found a 10' steel braided hose that was hooked to my nitrogen tank (forgot I had that laying around from my rockcrawling days), gonna mount the compressor in a different location and use this steel braided hose now.
