Want to...

...drop my pickup. I drive an 05 extended cab that is basically stock. I bought it with true duals and Roush 20's..just changed the exhaust to high flows and dynomax bullets. Actually, under the hood there's a sticker from Roush that says cpu rprgm, which I'm only guessing means they reprogrammed the cpu? Any help with that too would be great.

Anyways, I'm keepin the 20's, but I want to hopefully drop it 2/4 with a kit and get some eibach pro damper shocks all around. I'd just really want an idea of what that would look like and how it would ride. Possibly even some cheaper ways to accomplish about the same thing.

Thanks,
Will

Eibach is good. I have a GF 2/4 drop with the Eibach pro damper kit. It rides great.

As for the Roush tuning, maybe the truck once had a Roush s/c and it was taken off? Don't think they just do tunes. Just guessing.

Okay now I have some more questions. I've been lookin online for awhile for what I'd need and think I have the best solution.

1x Eibach Pro-Truck kit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EIB-35112-550/
1x Eibach Pro-Dampers http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EIB-35112-840/

Would those two components (the lowering kit and shocks) give me what I'm looking for? I want better ride quality and about a 2" front and 4" rear drop.

Thanks again,
Will

Yes you'll get what you want. It'll give you the lowered stance and much better handling. No more floating.

I actually installed that exact kit on a friend of mine's 06 about 5 months ago. Super nice kit and was fairly easy to install. I think you'll be happy with Eibach in the end. My wife and I have had Eibach on several VWs we've owned and never had a problem with sag or anything.
