Stealth had this setup on his truck, and then he went to belltech. If you have a quality shock it should ride just fine.

Install is very very simple.

I would recommend the ground force shackles that come withe the pinion angle shims.

Also if you have a 2pc driveshaft you will need a carrier bearing relocation kit to get the driveshaft from kinking and vibrating like crazy

On my truck I had 3" eibach leafs with the 2" GF shackles. I used the top hole which gave ne a 4.5" rear drop, but I also have a supercrew with a snuglid cover.

any idea about the part # patman? it looks like ground force shackles are a favorite on the site. also... would i be able to get away with the stock shocks and if so would they need to be modified? if not, (which is the likely answer) which shocks do yall recommend? i've been hearing the pro dampers, but i also hear about roush(bilstein) a lot? any suggestions? i would like improved cornering over soft comfy ride. thanks

I have the 2/3 eibach drop with 2 inch McG's shackles and the pro-damper kit. I love it. Just need the hellwig rear sway and I am done suspension wise. Shackles are shackles as long as they are a good name brand. They have all sorts of drops available too. The shocks struts are the big difference makers. And I vote eibach for them.

Yes, the Eibach Pro Damper kit is the way to go. They work great with the GF 9949 drop kit I'm using.

You know, I did the same thing and now I have a click when I go from drive to reverse. I think it is the angle but have been too lazy to actually check it out. Maybe after my road trip.....
