Finally some people who like to lower there f150's. I own a 2007 f150 fx2 super cab with the 5.5 foot bed white in color. I also own a 1999 s10 show truck slammed on the ground with a built 1995 corvette LT1 motor. Not bagged but its at about a 5 inch drop.

My question is i would like to lower it as much as possible with a set of 22's. Im guessing maybe only a 2/4 or 2/5 would be possilbe but i dont know much about lowering these trucks yet. Im looking at the Mb Motoring KL-77 wheel which if im looking right on discount tires site its a 22x9.5 with a 35 offset. Will these still tuck under the wheels or no? Also what size tires do i need to stay within the fenderwells?

first of all welcome, secondly you can easily do a 3/5 without being too low, or needing a notch. If you go 4/6 i would recommend doing a small notch in the rear.

If you plan on towing your S10 with your truck, you might look into "helper bags" or "Air assist" (different name same concept)

i have a 3/6 drop with 22's and no c-notch. i could probably use one but i don't use the bed that often.

 

yeah, your truck sits perfectly! if i had a lowered truck it would be that same set up

hey thanks alot guys for the welcome. i think a 3/5 is in order with the 22s ill be ordering soon. Appreciate the help. Ill throw up some pictures of both my street trucks to get your opinion. Anyone know how many f150s they made in supercab with a 5.5 ft bed? I dont see very many of them except for mine.

ive seen a handful of the scab 5.5, but i believe that is the first FX2 scab 5.5 ive seen.

both of those are nice trucks

 

I'm diggin' that S10. The FX2 will look nice when it's dropped.
