Emergency Brake With Belltech 3/4 kit

I just put the 3/4 kit on my 02 single cab 150, and I am having problems with the emergency brake. I have read the bracket and instructions by belltech are crap when it comes to mounting it, and making your own L bracket is the way to go.

If anyone has any advice, instructions, and pictures it would be great. My truck is on jacks in the garage, awaiting the bracket to be mounted and then shes done.

Thanks for any help and advice!

Thanks so much man! I got it down, and it works perfectly. I did not cut my one line out of it, but I have a single cab so it could be a little different. But to everyone else, move down the brake cable to the lower hole as the pics have above, and then put the huge bolt through the bracket and then the leaf pack.

Looks like I'm a little late, but I sent you an email with a pic of mine. I made an L bracket out of some flat stock.

Ahh gotchya. Well thanks alot man. And I know many others had this problem so I hope this thread helps.

I had to disconnect the quick lock to bring the cable over the top of the leafs, and then reconnected. Its perfect now, without any rubbing.

MAKE SURE you check for tire rubbage against the emergency brake. I rubbed a little of mine before I fixed the brake, so be careful!
