Changed out my rear leafs.

I found a suspension kit on craigslist local, Ground Force 9949 (2/4), the kit I wanted all along, for $400. It was on an 06 F150 for a month. The kit retails for about a grand.

Anyway I wanted all my springs to match since I already have GF coils in front. So today I took the Eibach leafs and GF shackles out and put in the GF 4" leafs with stock shackles.

The ride is a little stiffer out back which is good, even more sporty. I also like the leafs have an overload spring. Feels good with the Eibach damper kit. The rear of the truck is maybe 1/2" or so higher, but that's OK. I think it looks good, though I had to finish in the dark and it started sprinkling. Not to mention those things are heavy!

I'd post pics, bot it looks just about the same as before.

if it wasnt for the fact that I got laid off I would of bought your old kit from you for the wifes truck. She wont let me do it right now

You will like the way the GF springs feel, now all you need to get is a hellwig rear sway bar and it will handle like it is on rails.

Wow, sorry to hear that.

Yeah, I've been checking your gallery. Are you running a stock front sway bar?

Hey Stealth, Did your leaf spring come with anything inside the box other then the leaf? Because I got my Eibach leaf springs in today and the boxes were open at one end.
