They can adjust the negative camber by loosening the lower A arms and moving them inward. Sounds like they aren't very bright.

Going to Firestone was your first mistake. My advice is to take your truck to an alignment specialist. Let them take a look at it. Explain to them what you did to alter your suspension and they will know where to take it from there. Firestone installs tires very well. They don't know jack about aligning lowered vehicles. They're trying to get you in and out. IMHO. - Og

yea im still pissed of bout this.the only reason why i took it there is because my wife have an account w/ them and i wouldn't have to pay up front.but before i have them do the alignment i told them that the truck is lowered 2" and they told me that they could do it.i've been making alot of calls yesterday and found a shop that are willing to look at it(for free) to see if they could get it correct back to spec w/o buying any kit and if they can im going to have them give me a print out of it and take it back to firestone to get my refund.

Not true. I have a 2WD SuperCrew with a 3"x5" drop. Mine camber was -1.6 on the left and /1.8 on the right. After alingment is was at -.6 left and -.8 right. The caster may be a little out of range when you do this, but the camber is more important in the tire wear department. The lower control arms were adjusted all the way in to get to this spec. beut there was enough room in the stock slotted holes to accomplish this.

If you want to guarentee the alignment you can have the lower alignment holes (lower a arm holes) notched out a little. That will make up the difference.

If its the first time the truck has been aligned they will give you the cambolt line. Its what the alignment computer tells them to use and its easier for them. However it is completely unneccessary to get you back in spec. I did mine myself at a buddys shop. I loosened the lca and pushed it in all the way. Back to spec now
