Need some help

Can someone with a 5" rear drop tell me what you're pinion angle is? DJM has no idea what to set it to and he ticked me off so i hung up on him

I do have a 2 peice driveshaft and the carrier bearing is installed so it's not that.

Thanks guys

Go to the tech support page on DJM's site and look at the F150 flip installs, maybe it'll give you some visuals.

So how bad is the vibe? The drive shaft should be just about perpendicular with the pumpkin I believe.

The problem is with the driveshaft being perpindicular like they say, as soon as you give it gas it twists down from the torque. I need to know how much to offset that.

And it's bad. it does it at low speeds and sometimes when i let off the gas over 50 mph.

We were talking about having my driveshaft shortened at work but i've never heard of someone with a nbs f150 having to do that.

Anyone know of anyone that has a djm kit besides father ford? He's got the 1 peice driveshaft

can you take some pictures of your setup?

sounds like you need about +2 degrees. If you can post some pics i can get you in the ball park.

The DJM kit has adjustability, you can adjust the pinion angle.

Looks like the 2 piece drive shaft isn't aligned very well which can cause the vibe also.

Here's my driveshaft after the 2/4 drop. (Thanks, Pat. :o)

I thought about that too. Do you think it would be possible to take the factory plate off and weld two new peices of metal up there? I don't think i have enough room to redrill the holes.

btw a bearing doesn't have to be perfectly straight so it shouldn't be the problem. It could be though

Yah looks like your carrier bearing is a little low compared to the one we did on stealth's truck.

how about a straight (camera level) side shot towards the U bolts?
like:

But it looks like you are nose up so you need to wedge the front end down. Im still gonna guess 1-2* until i can see better pics

Oh my drive shaft is pretty straight too (just for comparison)

It's possible, but if the kit works on the stuff DJM installs it on it should work, correct? I'm stumped.

Man, sorry to say, I would call them :o again, and try to keep your cool , maybe email them your driveline pics and see what they say. Something has to give.
