drop shocks?

Ok I got another question for those who have knowledge in this area... I got my F150 dropped and I need to know what would be the best drop shock for me? These are some of the ones I was thinking:
DJM Calmax drop shock
Belltech Nitro 2 drop shock
Toxic drop shock

I want something that will last and is good for daily driving conditions and I live on a dirt road so I encounter bumpiness from time to time.. Im also wanting something that isn't very expensive.

yah DJM is a close second. I guess it just depends on the price you can get them for

I have the Toxic Shocks. They are made by Pro Comp. I think I paid $50 for the pair. My ride is a little rough. Dont know if its from the shocks, drop, 22's or the combination of everything. I've had them for about 2 years without any problems. If I had the money I would get the Eibach Pro Damper Kit.

I saw the Eibach pro damper kit online for $297.01 here, free shipping. I'd like to get that setup as well.

Most likely the combo you've got going there, the ride in the rear of my truck is a little stiff because of the airbags and 22's with low profiles.

The other day at DiscountTires (was getting a nail removed and patched up) I was talking to the guy there about the Tire Pressure Monitoring system and the pressure I run in my tires (45PSI, max rated is 50 on my tires). Well he ran my tire size, which is 305/40R22 through a program on his computer there, and said with my vehicle weight I only need to run 35PSI to be safe and it'll soften up the ride a bit.

You could probably call them and ask about specifics for different trucks.

EDIT: By the way, where's a good place to buy Toxic Shocks? I looked around a bit and can't seem to find anywhere that will let me browse them all, or a sizing chart. I just have those lame shock extender tabs that are useless.

Interesting...in the Focus community the Toxic shocks are frowned upon and seen as the worst of the worst...

I might also add to you choices the Ground Force REAR only air shocks that allow for a few inches of adjustable ride height. They are pretty cheap, and give you the ability to adjust for loads to find that "perfectly level" height.

I had them for about a year on my 2005 2/5 dropped SCREW and my only complaint was that they had a slow leak in the connectors. Word was that if you replace the supplied plastic fittings with metal once (Literally cost a couple bucks at a hardware store) it fixed the leak.

For me, I just refilled them once every 3 months or so.

FWIW, I ran Bilsteins up front and found them a bit stiff...but the truck did handle like a dang race car all things considered.

I have the Belltech Street Performance shocks, wanted the Nitro 2 but didn't fit my application. The SP's were a little more in price but worth it! Hauled 730lbs across tow this weekend with no problem and rode good. Of course, the extra weight dropped me another 1.5".

I didn't go with the Calmax because of bad reviews that I read...

hey az do you have a picture of your pinion at ride height?

i got a 3.5/5 djm drop and still have a slight vibration. I'm getting tired of crawling my 6 ft 200 lbs frame under this stinking truck
