Hey you Baggers

Well ive finally made the decision to bag the rig. Since ive got it down to the frame right now its the best time to do it. But just like everthing else i want my setup to be diffrent than just a kit. Im not a master fabricator. But, i can make due.

Here is my little problem i have in the setup id like to do. I want to keep all the link bars and bags inside the frame. Reason for this is i want to stuff a big "fatty" rear tires on this someday. So the airbar kit wont work. I got basically no experience setting up suspension componets. But i have a good grasp on what needs to be done.

Anyone got some helpfull tips or experience in this sorta stuff?

im ready for the cutting aspect of it. ill go just low enough to sit the frame on the ground. Wont be any dragging. more than likely i will have to cut up the bed maybe not so much the inner fenders. dont know yet.

i wouldn't run the bars inside the frame... simply for stability reasons. the idea of the wider the stance, the more stable it is applies. if you were thinking about running a wide rear tire, you may have to shorten the rearend. that way you can keep the bars outside the frame, and run wide tires.

but still would be limited on the width of the tire because of the 4 link, cuz he could get custom wheels with alot of back spacing instead of shortening the rear end but i like a nice deep wheels as do many others

but if you really want some wide rear tires find the tires you want and then build a new back half of the frame so that there is room for the bars outside of the rails

btw i just ordered a universal 4 link from suicidedoors.com itll be here friday but unfortunately its not for the f150

Well i did some measuring a while ago and it is possible to fit a 12" wide rim between the body and the frame. about 4 inches to spare. so there might be enough room for the 4 link bars. it will be close.
Im considering this http://www.kplinks.com/product.php?p...&cat=51&page=1 seems pretty good for the price and shouldnt require to much fab to install it

and love the pic!

(3) VIAIR compressors, 2 (5) gallon tanks, no pressure switch, manual switch for compressors, ½" lines, 8 valves, 4 switches (1 for each corner) my pedal adjustment switch was converted to a pancake switch & a Dakota Digital gauge that displays all 4 corners and tank pressure on a single 2 1/16" gauge.

BTW, I like the idea of going with a larger wheel in the rear.
I'm actually having some staggered fit wheels being machined right now, but they will only be 10" in the rear (with more lip) and 9" in the front.
