lowering ?????? for 02 super

ok, i've looked and looked, and seen all kinds of lowering ways for my truck. question is which way is best? i have a 02 super cab with 6ft bed, want to lower it . should I use just shackles or go the whole with leaf springs?
for the front use just coil springs or what?
and will i have to use caster plates or not?
what about struts?
all i want to do is drop it some not slam it. i still pull my stang with it also.
any ideals?

i dont want to slam it,maybe 1-2 in front and 2-4 in back.
depends on what all i need. i seen some kits on ebaythat has front springs/rear schakles/rear hangers/shocks for like 250.
if i drop it 2/4 will i need the new shocks and rear leafs?
on the front same new shocks and spindels?

those kits should contain everything you need except maybe an alignment, you can use lowered shocks but on a 1"/2" drop like i did on my green truck you can still run the stock shocks

patman is the expert on supercrew lowering, hopefully he'll chime in soon

so here are some kits offered on ebay, which one is the most sinceable?
what would be the purpose of the hangers for the rear or the flip kit of the GF if you can do the same with just the schakles?

you can only go so low with shackles, that is why they offer different parts for the lower you go.

i did a 1" up fornt with springs and 2" in the rear with belltech adjustable shackles

it sounds to me like you wanna drop yours alot more than i did and patman has the stance i think you are looking for, here's the link to his album:

hopefully he will chime in here or you can PM him for info on his suspension setup for his ride height
