I Recently got a Supercrew truck. And just want to mingo for some more ideas and of course... TO show it off. haha

This is a little offtopic but I just raced one and need to know. What does the camaro below have in it. There was a black badge on the bottom right of the bumper or so, that read RS or something similar. Just need to know the engine that comes in these. Smoked it on 37's w/custom tuner, intake, exhaust, no cats, efans, etc. from a roll of about 25mph up to around 65 (not ideal, I make most power from the 2-1 downshift @ 30-40mph).

 

Can't say nice kill since the RS is an underpowered V6 in a heavy car thus it is very very slow

 

RS is for RALLY SPORT...

They come with a 305 chevy v8...
I can smoke these cars all day in my V6 truck. They are a lil heavy.

The CAMARO RS had a 3.8L V6 and 200-205 hp

 

All show no go, good looking car though. Smoked it easily barely shifting into my powerband. I raced a lowered hemi w/exhaust a little while back and kept up until 60 maybe. He pulled away ever so slightly so it was a very close match. If I were stock height it would have been another story.

 

you say its a heavy car, but its actually lighter then the "current" Fbodys.

I thought the RS had the 305 v8 also Although im sure there are a few with the v6 too.

are you nuckin futs? There is no way a stock RS camaro V6 can run a 13. Even if it was close it would be like 14.3 A stock LS1 camaro runs a mid 13.

thanks for the comments.I've never had the L at a dragstrip and I don't think the 2 older owners had it there either,so as far as I know,it's never been raced.(it is also in the classifieds)I'm picking up an 05 reg cab stepside FX-4 on Tues....L's gotta go.
