Question Just wondering

Hey what's up guys, i was just wondering what everybody was doing to keep their rearends up under their trucks when taking off hard from the line. All I have on my truck is a cold air intake and a catback exhaust. It may be just me, but i swear if i keep on hammering it at red lights the rearend is gonna snap. 01 Supercrew Lariat. any ideas would help. thanks

Haha either get bigger rear tires, or dont go so hard on the start and step on it after a few seconds

They may not be all that you need, but the scenario you described was rather limited. Generally, if you're smoking the pavement constantly, wheel hop becomes one of the initial concerns. Letting it continue can damage your u-joints and set you up for a high speed pole vault. The Lakewood #21715 is the standard in low-tech slapper bars. Higher horsepower coupled with higher traction tires demand a higher tech solution. Some call these lift bars and others call them torque arms. Either way, they are long bars (some 58") that have an axle bracket at the rear and a long bar that attaches to a front frame bracket. All of the Lightning tuner websites sell the later.
