First... I hope there's a special place in hell for automotive designers - I destroyed the factory speaker cover trying to remove it. Anyway, now I can't remove the sub. I can't figure it out! I've removed the speaker cover, all the screws, the screen and speaker just spins! I've tugged on it - it's stuck!

1. What am I doing wrong - why won't it come out.
2. The speaker is blown. What do you recommend I replace it with?

When shopping for the replacement sub you need to find one that is very efficient (doesn't require much power) and is designed for small enclosures.
