I have a 2000 XLT sport e/cab and was wondering what is my front and rear door speaker size? I see some posts talking about 5x7 and others 6x8. I want to replace my front speakers but was hoping not to take off my panels to check the size. Is there any concern regarding mounting depth I should be aware of before I buy or are most replacement speakers going to fit?

yea check out crutchfield.com also i think its 5x7s

 

Your speakers are 5x7's. You can use 5x7's or 6x8's they will both fit.

You can use 6.5 speakers too.

 

6.5" fits easily with a simple adapter plate.
