Does anyone know the positive and negative wire colors for a 98 f150 scab? I dont know if i have them wired right or backwards. Thanks.

The article says they might change colors before it gets to the stereo. Does anyone know if they stay the same or change?

 

If you are talking about speaker wires, then to check if you have it right, fade the stereo to the front, then from side to side. If there is a more bass when you are on one side then in the middle, then you speakers are out of phase. If there is more bass when the balance is centered, then you are ok on those two. Do the same for the rear speakers, and from front to back. Since speaker wire is carrying a/c current, then it is important for the sound that all 4 speakers are connected the same way. The color of the wires on f150s is the same from the stereo to the speakers. Hope this helps.
