Best Brand?

I want to get everyones opinion on the best speakers available. Cost is not of issue in this poll. I have my own ideas, but I want to hear what you guys think.

No doubt about it, Focal's. I have never heard any other speakers that are as clear or responsive as these are.

Focals are nice, but way too overpriced. MB Quart speakers aren't cheap either, but they are better priced and sound unbelievable.

FOCAL all the way...thats what i use now and thats all i will ever use with the exception of a few like rainbow.

i swear by focal i have the focal 165Vs in the kick panels and they sound great and for 224 for a set of 6½ comps i wouldnt say is that bad. but i suggest getting a good HU and amp to match up with them i have an eclipse (cd8051) HU and a zapco 350x2 amp powering them but i used to have a jl amp and that did pretty well too.

Focals are best, specifically Utopias.

I personally have Diamond Audio Hex components. With about 75 watts, they sing as well as anything I've ever had.

Focals are good, but arent the best ive heard. Dynaudio and Rainbow speakers are some of the best out there! Rainbow speakers arent cheap though...

I to am looking to put in a system. It's been a ling time sine I was involved in car audio (back in high school) so I'm a bit out of touch.
I was set on Boston Acoustics Pro Series Components with the JL audio stealth box for the back console in my '02 Harley. I'm still ok with the JL Stealth, though my source can not get the BA's. My choices for compenents are now:
JL Audio
Focal
Alpine
Eclipse
They are recomending the JL series with either a Nakamichi head unit or Alpine multimedia unit.

I saw several recomendations in this string for the Focal, but am totaly unfamiliar with them. Taking cost out of the equation, from the choices listed above is Focal the way to go or do I follow their lead on the JL Audio? Alpine is really pushing their newest high end model as well!

TREADWHEELER..

My opinion.. FOCAL by far out of the brands you listed.

I've got Focal 136K components. VERY SATISFIED. This is not the top of the line model but they still sound incredible.

I paid $262 for mine. of course this is an internet price.

Tested some of the others you listed and prefer the Focals.
