Down fire boxes have to have air space between the sub & the floor for travel. From the pic, if you turned that box face down, the subs wouldn't have room to move and would be impacting the floor.

Could you post a pic with the box installed under the seat? I think that would clear up any confusion.

Actually, now that I think about it, the narrow part would probably rest on the back ledge below the seat, which would make the angled area have space between the subs & the floor. Perhaps I am the confused one & I am a monkeys uncle . A picture of one in the cab would definitely clear this up. Sorry for crapping on your thread.

...................I've built to many boxes for the F150's...........and If you can fit that box under the back seat of any F150, hell I'll buy you the F150. With those dimensions alone......and that picture.........that box will fit either in the bed, or underneath the truck.

GOOD LUCK with this one.

Not to be a smart a$$, but did you get permission to sell those from the webmaster on these forums?
If you did, than disregard, but if not, you should contact him and get approval.
(not everyone knows the rules)
This post is only intended to be helpful

Regards
Habibi

The box that paymon shows in the pic is shown on his website as a box for a "1990+ Toyota Truck Dual 10"

If it actually fits our trucks I wish he'd post a pic of one installed, there is a market out there right now that subbox is not filling.

umm not to be a sphincter, but there is no way in hell that is going to fit. not the way its shown (even w/ an LMI kit you dont get 14" of height) not on its back (thanks to that connected backboard which would be on the hump in the middle of the floor), and not downfiring (unless you want to have your subs punching holes in the floor and themselves)
just my $.02 worth.
perhaps he posted the wrong pic?

F-series box

I think you guys are right. I really wanted you to be wrong. I just took a tape measure out and checked his dimensions to my truck. Nope. Won't go. I have three 10's in my super cab. They fit OK behind the driver's seat but I of course lose the seat space. My box measures 5"x14"x13"x35" and is sealed. It stands upright behind the driver but i can still get two adults in the back seat. I have to say it really hits hard and I'm not sure I want to change the confiiguration but if I could go to two 10's that fit under the seat I would probably do it even at the expense of my thump. Will post pics as soon as I get my hands on a digital camera. Perhaps this weekend?.
