Tell me what yall think of these subs, I didn't really know the best way to put them in so I just took out the seat. Also most likely I will be adding a component system with an additional amp and a capacitor. I need suggestions on mounting.

I put a neon string on the amp and a neon above it just because one of my friends had them laying around, I'll take a picture of it at night, I think it looks good but I'd like some other opinions.

The back seat really wasnt hard at all to get out, it took about two people though just because of the way it fit in there, the best thing to do is take off all the bolts that are holding it down and then it just slides up and out.
being 12's you're going to have to go completely custom some guys here have bought boxes for 10's that go under the rear seat fireing downward....i don't know how to fit your subs in ....do you use your rear seat at all?? you could just make a box/rack set up with a hard top for hauling crap....

I might try turning them around...one interesting thing i've seen is that they sound better when the windows are down and the cab is opened up. It's like there isnt enough airspace when the windows are up and everything is closed up, they just hit harder and lounder with everything open. I dont really use my back seat at all, so i dont plan on putting it back in unless it is neccessary.

Hey try this..
Just roll your windows down about an inch. and crank it up.. see how hard it hits then... with your windows rolled up your truck is a very small confined air tight space.. but if you open your doors up you lose some of the energy.. but if you just crack your windows... its enough for the excess to escape.. but not enough to let all the energy escape. YOu can just hear the diffence by rolling them up, and then back down.. its really cool

hmm... you just ****MIGHT**** be able to put that seat on top of that box with 4" lift brackets... check www.lmiwelding.com -the kit comes with everything to lift the bottom, backrest, and seatbelts (something I hadnt even thought of until the kit came). I've got a 3" lift with dual 10" down firing, but I've mounted my amps, cap, and distro block on top of the box. Something you might try before ordering the kit is to assemble the seat bottom and mounts, then set the seat on top of the box. Once you do that, measure the distance from the mount holes to the floor. If its less than or equal to 4" you're set.
**extra bonus** have your girlfriend test out the seat by sitting on it while you crank up the bass.
she'll love you forever.

Yeah I might try the lift, that would make things a lot better back there. As far as the girlfriend thing goes, you should see her reaction when we're out "spotlighting" and i cut on a competition bass mix that i made hehe. Sitting still it makes your throat hurt.
oh yeah, since your subs are facing the front, or even if you turn them backwards, you might want to put some grilles on them... just be sure your subs dont hit the grille during before or at full excursion.
hey- I was looking at your box and you might want to consider getting 2 2x4 blocks of wood as long as the depth of your box, and cover them with some carpet like you have on the box. Then, screw one to the bottom of the box (mount front to back) on the side furthest away from the hump in the middle of the floor. The other would go parallel to the other one, but just inside the hump. This will level things out a bit and keep the box from sliding around a bit when the seat is on.
