I'M ASSUMING YOUR TALKING ABOUT A FIBERGLASS COVER. MY OPPINION IS THAT IT WOULD SOUND HORRIBLE. THE GUY WHO PUT MY COVER ON SAID THAT MINE WAS PRETTY MUCH AIR TIGHT, SO I DECIDED TO PUT THE AMPS AND CAPACITOR BACK THERE AND LEAVE THE SUBS IN THE X-CAB. THATS JUST MY GUESS.

believe me....i have 2 12"s behind my seat and it hits hard !! you dont hear it six blocks away like some cars or suv's ,but it definately does the job.. you should be happy with some setup in the cab..just make sure you get the box size right for your subs...
