Question Polk EX3560 component sys. Will it fit? And Component Tweeter location?

I have a 2002 Screw. Will the 6.5" speaker with the Ex3560 component system fit in the front? I'm assuming some modification. Or am I better off with the EX3550 system with 5 1/4" speaker that I know it supposed to work according to Crutchfield. Also, what has been the best tweeter location that has had good results with these trucks? Any opinions or advive on these Polk Audio compenent systems are very much appreciated. Thank you.

I have a 1998 Xcab and I put the Polk EX2550's in mine a while back. The 6 1/2's will give you a little more bass than the 5 1/4's but will require an adapter to allow for the bigger opening.
If you have a subwoofer than the 6 1/2's aren't really necessary unless you want to have a little more bass from the drivers.

Maybe one of these adapters will work:

I put my tweeters in the sail panels in the corner of the door panel/window and they sound great.

Tweeter location Info

On the Screw, the drivers side sial panel is a little angled, and hard to put one on flush.

I put mine is different locations in the front and rear door.

The first 2 pics here show the location of the front and rear doors that I used.

There are only 2 small hole in the panels, so if I ever want / need to take them out it is not a problem.

The other place that I have seen people put these is in the soft door material just in front of the door handle. This is using a flush mount, rather then a surface mount, and requires cutting a circular hole in this material. I have not checked, maybe this is a seperate item that can be replaced easy, but I did not like the idea myself.

Search on Tweeter, or troll the Speaker forum to see pics of these installs.

I went with the 6.5" and am glad I did. I was going with the 5.5" and the audio guy assured me the larger ones would fit and would produce a much better sound. He was right.
