Need Help on Box

I just got a 1999 F150 Supercab with the Fold Down seats and I want to put (1) JL 12w6 under either the 60 or the 40 section of the seat, using if possible the 2 inch seat lift kit or less. If anyone has build a box like this and could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm trying the same thing..

I haven't started yet but what I came up with is this.

1. you will have to remove the middle bracket compleatly.(seat will be suported on box)

2.I have 2 10'2 right now and I can say from experience don't face the subs upward. they fire into the seat and rattle the whole cab.(not always a option to have the seat folded up.)

3.port the bitch!!! it will sound nice if done right.. check the specks.

4. if your planning on facing the sub forward put a cover plate on the front..(make your sub countersunk into the wood..)
make your box,and install the sub, then take a sheet of wood and cut the sub size hole out of the wood and apply on the whole front of the box. this will look clean if your planning on vinal of fiberglass for the box cover...
best bet is to fire the sub down ward(this is how the w3 10 stelth box is set up from JL audio..)
take a look at it.
well I will ancwer your questions if you got them.
