Does/ can anyone post some pictures (either in reply here or in their gallery) showing their tweeters flush mounted in the front door "soft" vinyl? My local radio shop says tweeters can't be mounted there because the vinyl will tear.....I know I've seen pictures of others on the list that have them installed there.....I want to show this guy at the shop that it CAN be done.....

Check out the link in my signature, and click on the "Interior Views" tab. There is a shot of both amps in the seat back, but off to the right you can see the Boston Acoustic separate tweeter. I'll try and get a better pic and post it for you. I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about. It isn't totally "flush", but it's not completely externally mounted. Actually, the entire tweeter is below/behind the panel. The grill is sitting on top of the panel.

I emailed you the pictures. The install was not hard. They just used the proper size hole saw and slowly made the cut in the vinyl.
