Question Which polk audio oval spkrs are best?

I want to put in some new Polks in. Which line on polk are best? DX7, EX368, or the new GXR57? Also, can anyone tell me how many watts per channel the stock head unit has in my 02 Screw?

Looking at Polk's Web site I would say the EX368's are the best of those three. The DX series are better than the EX series but the DX7 you mentined is a 3-way speaker which are not really that good for total sound because of the area of the cone covered by the mid and tweeter in the center.
I am not sure about the wattage on your stock head unit.

Every one here that has the dx-7s raves about how great they are. The best thing to do if at all possible is to listen to them yourself. Everyone has a different opinion.

Thumbs up I agree with Twistedfinn

I've got the DX-7's and I love them but it's totally personal preference. Everything sounds different to different people. The only thing is, I think Polk has discontinued the DX-7's. If you can find them and like them, you can probably get a really good deal on them. Ultimately, it's up to your ears.
