subbox.net box for 02 SCrew

I have been seeing alot of talk about the subwoofer boxes from SUBBOX.net for under the back seat of a SCrew.

Of those of you that have purchased this box, I am wondering which subs you have put in them? I already have a JL 10W3 that I took out of my previous vehicle. However I recently determined that it probably isnt going to fit under the back seat of my '02 SCrew like I want to do.

Let me know which subs you are using and how you like them (in that SUBBOX.net box) good or bad, I want to know what your experiences have been before I make a decision.

I got a box from subbox.net and I can say that it is a great box. Everybody that hears my system never believes that all I have is 1 10in. woofer(JL10w6). The box fits nicely under the seat. You can view some pics by going to my webspace link below.

Thats really cool. I've got a 10W3 that I took out of my camaro and it did great in there. The only problem is that the 10W3 doesn't fit in the subbox.net box. I dont think its really gonna fit in any box under that seat. I was surprised to see that you have a 10W6 in there. I assumed that the 10W6 is bigger than the 10W3 BUT according to the spec sheet at jlaudio.com, the 10W3 requires about .4 inches more in mouting depth.

Thanks for the input. Mind if I ask how much you paid for your 10W6?

The best price I could find online was $180. I managed to get lucky and find a local shop (Houston Car Stereo, www.houstoncarstereo.com) that had it regularly priced for $169. Cartoys wanted $230. It barely fit in the box, but it did. I'm starting to think that the box was built with the 10w6 in mind since it fits in the box like a glove.

I use a Phoenix Gold XS2500, which is a 500Wx1 or 250Wx2 amp. The other amp is an MTX amp pushing 4 Kenwood eXcelon speakers. Those eXcelons scream!
