Finally! I finished My Complete Install!!
OMG!! I'm done!!! kinda...
Two days and 20+ hours later, I'm finished!
Here's what I installed
Speakers- Focal polyglass components (165 V3) for the front
Polk DX7's for the rear doors
Amplifiers- MTX 8302 to power the focals
MTX 6500D to power the Subs
MTX RT2152 to power the polks
Subs- Haven't arrived yet (monday) but ran all the wiring.
That was my first install ever, and hopefully my last! All in all, it wasen't that bad, just took forever. Day one- I started by removing the door paneling. It wasen't that hard, just kinda pull really. After that was done, I removed all the old factory POS speakers, and began with the Accumat. Just to do the doors, took a few hours. After that was done, I began to start wiring. Ran a 4ga main power line all the way to behind the center console and along the driver's side sill. All wires were ran along the drivers side. Also ran an 8ga power wire to run a third amp independantly. I wound up cutting a huge slice in the carpet to fit all the wires through and performed the coat-hanger trick numerous times to get the wires from one point to the next under the carpet. Once all the power wires and grounds were in place, I started running speaker wire. I ran 16ga wire down the left and right sills to the kick-panels and then ran separate wires through rubber boots into the doors. This line powers the 6.5" woofer in the door. (Note, a plate of 1/4" MDF was used as a spacer to accomidate the new driver) The 6.5"s were installed, and door panels replaced. and that was day one...
Day two, had to make a trip to pep-boys to pick up a torques lug set. it's this stupid tool ford used instead of standard sockets. One I got this, I removed the entire rear seat asembly. This took some time and after a few colorful words, It was removed. Once the seats were out, I was able to remove the rear side panels giving me access to the rear door speakers and the rubber boot. Installed the Polks and I was just about set. While I had the seat down, I applied Accumat to the entire rear panel to prevent my whole truck from vibrating due to the subs. that done, I ran the signal wire for the subs and then put the carpet back down. (man, I can't believe I did this much stuff!) Now time for the Test. It was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG, I can't wait till it's fully installed (kick-panels and subbox aren't here yet) took about two - three hours to put it all back together but it looks good as new, and sounds so much better! Let me know, now that I've done it, I'd be glad to help!

I put the original Dynamat 10"x10" sheets around my Infinity speakers in the front doors. In my opinion, without it, the speakers would rattle and sound awful. Dynamat gives you a nice clear sound without the annoying rattles, and it gives your speakers smoother, and tighter bass. I say definatley use it!
Outstanding, BJRed!! The harshest road travelled usually provides the most satisfying results. Your new sound is bound to pound the ground.
DanB: Abso-freaking-lutely !! Dynamat (or like substance) makes a major freaking difference in what you hear. It's very much worth the pain in the butt to install -- the more places, the better, but especially around your speakers. Do the floor. Do the back wall. Do the doors. If you can't spring for Dynamat. Find the spray on stuff from partsexpress. ANYTHING you can add to dampen rattles and outside noise is money well spent.
