Recommendations on Console Subs

I have a 2001 F150 with the Leather Capton Chairs. I want to install a sub in the console's lower section below the tray in the area of the 6 changer.

Does anyone have a recommendation concerning a sub that would fit and any advise or comments about the effects of a sub put so close to the 6-changer.

Virtually any 10" that can perform in a small (.66 cu) enclosure would work. I personally have a 10" Kicker Solo in mine.
There is also the possibility of getting the JL Audio Console Box. It is really pricey in my opinion, but that may be the route for you to go.

Thanks, I'll check that site out. How about the closeness to the 6-changer? any problems like making a CD jumb or skip?

Hey Boaz,

I've got the same truck as you and I've ordered JL Audio's new center console enclosure. Still waitin' for it to arrive.......

Problem is, you've got to bag the CD changer.

Good luck to ya.

From reading above, it sounds like you can fit a sub in the console in addition to the changer. It that right?
