Question on SCrew Sub Boxes

I have a 2002 Lariat Screw 4x4 with the factory CD Changer installed in the tall console. With the new JL Audio Tall Console box, does the CD Changer have to be relocated? I am assuming so, but unsure.

Also, has anyone installed the SCrew Subbox (listed in this forum) in their truck, and if so how do like it, and what sub did you use?

Any input is appreciated.

try Q-Logic, famouse for their kickpanels and now for their sub boxes. They make a factory match box for under the rear bench which holds two eights (8"). Certainly different from a single ten (10") in the console, but you don't lose the space, and your console doesn't get raised the required inch or two. Then you can shop for two woofers, your choice as long as you look for something that works well in a small sealed box. The amp will depend on the woofers, but will likely be mono 300-600 watts.

the console doesn't get raised in this tall version.
