Has anyone used these speakers in their trucks? I'm looking to get new speakers, and I remember my friend having those in his mustang and they sounded really good. Just wanted to see what you guys have to say. Thanks.

 

Go with a 5.25" component set. Thats pretty much what the clarion plates are.

 

I used to have these speakers in my 91 Explorer and they suck. I had them in my back doors. My front speakers were JL Audio 5x7's. The JL's were MUCH MUCH BETTER... The Clarion's were much closer to 4" components than 5.25"...

 

Tahnks for the feedback. It's been a long time so I really don't remember exactly how they sounded. I think I'll go with the JL's.
