Do I have to power the 6.5" amplified Bazooka tube from the battery, or can I tap in at the fuse block?

 

Either will work. However, the trick to getting really GOOD quality bass out of it, is run a big fat monster cable all the way to the battery. The ground can be done anywhere, don't have to run that one all the way up.
