Sounds like the box maybe the problem. Does the sub have enough air space? Is the box sealed well?

hey man one of the reasons you may be expeirenceing sound probs is because your speaker may be too big id you only have a reg cab truck you may want to consider getting 10s. when you have a reg cab truck you dont have enough air space to produce the Boom that you want
