2007 lincoln navigator subwoofer replacement

I have just a 10' subwoofer. Is it possible to install this into the current subwoofer assembly, removing the actual subwoofer and rewiring the one i got or is the only solution istalling an entire new subwoofer with a box and all? This is my first time trying to remove/install anything in a truck so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

First, you'll need to match the subwoofer to the impedance of the amp. I believe the stock amp is 2 ohm. You may need to do some research or just open it up and do some measuring or reading.

Also, from what I've read it's a 8" subwoofer, so the 10" will likely not fit in the stock enclosure.

I suggest reading this:

And more specifically to your vehicle this:

Good luck!
