I have one of the older W7s. It use to be in the HO Wedge box. My questions could I build a similar box, and by similar I mean can I build one that is deep rather then wide? I would like to build a center console box just want to know if the box makes sense. If you would like for me to further explain let me know.

Overall shape doesn't really matter. All the matters is the box has the proper airspace and that there's enough mounting depth to both clear the sub and about an inch or so extra if the sub is pole vented to allow it to properly cool.

Of course if you decide to port the sub as well, be prepared to spend a couple hours on a box calculator trying to get all the port dimensions correct so that you don't end up with port noise or a box tuned really high.
