Which subs should I get

I have a 2006 extended cab f150. I am wanting to put 2 subs. Any recommendations on which subs and amp I should get? I have a pioneer deh-x6700bt reciever and Rockford Fosgate Punch P1683 6 x 8 front door speakers.

Whats your budget for the subs and amp? Do you want as much bass as possible for as cheap as possible or do you want quality bass?

My budget is roughly 500, give or take. I'd rather one quality sub that produces the same bass as 2 cheap subs would.

I have a 08 extended cab with JL Audio Stealthbox that has one 10" w3v3. It's an abosultely brilliant sub in their ported box. Highly recommend it and blends well my Hertz and Audison setup.

JL is brilliant as much as I hate to say it haha. I've had a 10" outperform my 12", but he wore it out quick. Mine is powerbass. Not hugely known, but very strong and many choices. I recommend them, give em a look

Aftermarket Subs

Here's what I did in my 2012 F150 Supercab. I tapped in a line out adapter to my back speaker wires so I could run RCA wires for amp(s), powered my first amp that runs (2) 8" Polk Audio subs, RCA line out to another amp to power my 12" Alpine. Ya it's a little big for the back seat but nobody really sits back there. I have the 6 speaker system without sync. 4 doir speakers and 2 pillar tweeters. The door speakers and tweeters are great for mids and highs and the 8"s are awesome for mid and the 12" pounds the lows. Not a high end system by any means but it POUNDS pretty dam good!
