HELP!!! Need 2 subwoofers for 2008 Ford F-150 Crew Cab

That's the box that I purchased and I need some help getting some really good speakers like maybe some sundown audio subs or Jl audio subs or just somewhere around there awesome good quiatlity. I like deep bass so I want to know what subs will fit that mounting depth. Willing to spend $150 for at each sub thanks. The mounting depth for the box is 5 1/4 inches

What box is it?
Whats the airspace per sub?
Whats the amp that'll be driving the subs?

Around 1 inch airspace and the amp I'm buying an amp around $200 that's good enough for the best sound

1 inch of airspace? That's a completely meaningless number. What is the cubic feet or per sub? It'll be in the description of the box you purchased or you can post a link to the box you bought and we can go from there. Subwoofers have a recommend amount of space they need as well as a space they take up (in cubic feet), that all needs to be taken into account when fitting the sub to a pre-fab box. If the airspace is off, it'll sound pretty rough and you run the risk of damaging the subs.

Not to mention, what diameter sub did you buy a box for?

Off of the top of my head, i can go ahead and say majority of subs in sundown's league will not work well with that box due to mounting depths or airspace needed. An exception I can think of right now would be the sundown sd-2, but you'd need to up your budget per sub. But if you went with a used amp you can save a chunk of money there. But I'll look so more today during my break at work to give you some other options as well.

So did a little bit more looking, if you can stretch your budget the Sundown SD-2 10" will by far give you the most output. Due to the mounting depth of most other 10's and them being pole vented find others to fit that box and work with the airspace is a bit limited.

The JL 10W0v3 would work, but you'd need to stuff the box with polyfill to get the volume up some. Another option would be the Rockford Fosgate P3S. It's a shallow mount, but it'll perform just about as well as any standard 10" in it's price range and matches up with the box you chose pretty well.

I recommend doing your own research as well to figure out what's right for you before you make a purchase.

Sundown e10's will work, be cheap, and sound good. I have 2 in a Foxbox pushed by an 1100w Alpine amp.

The e10 has a mounting depth of 5 5/8", that would not work in his box that only has clearance for 5 1/4". Not to forget there also needs to be room behind the motor if the sub is pole vented as well for proper cooling.

So you want awesome subs that are good quality and will fit in a tight space for $150? That's really hard to achieve man. I have a JL Audio Stealthbox and those come loaded with a 10" Wv3v 4-ohm sub. That has been an amazing sub for 4yrs now and works best in a ported box. One of the smallest subs you'll find and definitely worth it.

Might have to up your budget but personally I remember what it was like to hear a $150 sub and I'm ok with not having any sub or multiple subs in that price range.
