Need help picking an amp

So I have been looking into getting a sub for my truck and I really want to get the Kicker CompRT 10 inch sub. It has 600 watts rms and the required airspace is in the range of "supercrew sounds" 10 inch sub box. Now what I need help with is deciding on an amp. I have been looking at boss amps because they are cheap and it looks to me that if I want to get the full power out of the CompRT sub I will need this amp ( http://www.bossaudio.com/auto/car-au...udio-ph2-1000/ ) Boss advertises this amp to have a max 2000 watts but the rms is only 320W X 2. If I were to bridge this amp would it come out to be about 600 watts rms? Does this sound like a decent setup?

yes that is correct! the only thing is Boss is a very cheap company. the amps themselves come from a huge factory and different companies just slap their name on it. usually they are less watts then what is stated.
but saying that, they are cheaper then most companies out there so that is a plus!
i use Alpine amps in my truck and i love them

this amp will be fine I'm just a picky bastard! good luck and let me know how it sounds

You'll be lucky to get 500 clean rms out of that amp without it starting to clip and distort bad. Majority of the time you may never need that much power but it gives you no extra headroom at all to keep the amp cut back to prevent it from running hard and hot pretty much all the time.
