Custom subwoofer box

I have a single can truck and want to design a sub box for the back of the truck. Now obviously pushing 2 12" subs I want plenty of bass and know it considers air space so I want to cut through to the bed of my truck. I know how to cut through and make the box fit but what I'm worried about is when it rains or gets wet how to make sure it doesn't leak through the gap between the back glass and the actual bed also even if the box is tight in the hole that I've cut that water don't get inside the truck through there. I do plan to Bed liner spray the box but there must be something else also I need to put so it does not leak or move or anything like that I do not have a bed cover top either any comments on what to use???

I would recommend finding someone to custom build you a box to go behind the seat. A cut through isn't a good idea IMO. I had 4 JL 12's behind the seat of a regular cab S-10 that sounded great, but I had professionals build the box and tune it for the subs. Also keep in mind that bed liner spray will dampen the acoustics of the box, and give it a dull sound.
