Shop Install Quote

I have researched stereo upgrades for my 2013 STX until my eyes have bled. The options are pretty endless from mild to wild. One thing through all of my research that I couldn't really find was just how much a professional install would be. I am as much of a DIY guy as everyone else but I was always curious to see how much I was saving. Well by posting my quote, I hope it sheds some light on what a good quality professional install costs for a system that is pretty straight forward. This shop is in Erie, PA and is a very good solid shop. Here we go:

Hertz Dieci 6.5 components up front
Hertz Dieci 5x7 coax in back
Kenwood KAC-7005PS 5 channel amp
Standard carpeted truck box under back seat -drivers side
Phoenix Gold 10 inch dual 4ohm sub for the box
Hushmat the doors around the speaker openings (all 4 doors)
PAC line output converter with remote turn on trigger
Remote bass **** and installation
Amp wiring kit plus all wires, RCA cables, adapter plates, connectors, etc...

Install everything and tune the whole system. Amp would be installed behind rear seat back and the bass **** would go below and to the right of the steering wheel in the dash. Installation would take a day and a half. I am keeping my stock head unit as I just solely listen to Sirius.

Grand total - $1,712.75

The quote is very detailed so I can see all the costs. Their shop rate is $74 an hour. Install time quoted seems reasonable to me but their item prices all run on the high side. I just figured I would post up what a shop would charge for a pretty run of the mill system.
