What kind of dimensions do you have to fit a box? Are you gonna build your own box, have one built, or go prefab?

If your answer was one of the first two, you'll find that a single quality sub in a proper box will out perform two cheap ones.

If your gonna go prefab, you need to pick out a box first, because the subs need to match the box as close as possible, or it's gonna sound pretty bad and you could damage the subs.

Also what's the budget for the amp?

If you can build a box, you can make it for about 40 in parts. If your gonna have one built, it'll run you 150+. There's cheap and there's good. In car audio, they rarely go together.

Before buying two of those pioneer junk subs, I'd look at the sundown sd-2 10 or 12". If you have the mounting depth to fit one of those pioneers, you can fit the sundown 12". It'll perform a lot better than those two subs if in a proper box.

Since it sounds like your on a tight budget though, so I'd consider checking ebay, craigslist, or some car audio forums to pick up some good equipment a bit cheaper.

As for amp, its gonna depend on your final choice of the subs.

You don't need a seat lift. But if you want one for some reason, get one and then get 2 kicker comp 10s or 12s for around $150. Those are one of the best bang-for-buck subs IMO and the set I had were great.

Get 2 shallow-mount 10s or 12s, a Boss 1100 or 1600 Watt or Power Acoustic, or something like that amp, and a box online. That's the cheapest route IMO.

Subs - $150 (or your $200 Pioneers)
Amp - $60
Box - $90

$300 total, plus some $20 wiring kit. You'd best install these yourself, or you're gonna pay twice that just for install. You need an aftermarket head unit or one of the things (can't remember what it's called) to hook it up to your factory and a bass ****.

www.sonicelectronix.com/‎ is where I got my box I believe. Or maybe I got it from these guys http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/S...FYY7Mgodsi8Alw

Ripping the carpet off the box and putting bedliner all over would help seal it. I'll do this to mine eventually when I get bored and have my neighbor's shop spray it.

I have 2 Kicker CVTs (shallow single voice coil CVRs) underpowered a cheap 8 year old amp (my beloved little warrior ) that refuses to die and no seat lift. More than happy with them.

Top 10 on a retail site where it's your average customer reviews really doesn't mean anything. Go check a forum dedicated to car audio, you'll see real reviews.

without the seat lift kit i will only have a 5- 6/8 mounting depth i think thats what it was but with it i can have up to a 7inch mounting depth i was originally all for the shallow mount 12inch sub but it seems to be better to get a 10inch normal sub is better rather than to get a 12inch shallow mount boss amp watts are supposedly alot less than what it says it is but im not sure ill do more research thanks for the box website though

That's true. I would rather have full 10s versus shallow 12s. And Boss amps do output a lot less, but if you need 1000 and it says 1600, that's probably enough. They're dirt cheap. I was just offering the most bare-bones way to do it, since that's what you seemed most interested in doing in the first place.

I'll answer your other question here too: Kenwood touchscreens are a very economical choice (I have one). Entry-level big-name stuff is much better than off-brand crap when it comes to headunits IMO. Crutchfield is the best place to order any radio when installing yourself. They make it stupid-easy to do and provide everything you need free. They're great with all warranty stuff as well.

That would be a much better option than the pioneer, and two of them will fit your budget. And whereas the pioneer was rated at 800rms it'd probably only take about 4-500 before distorting. These will take full rated no problem.

These amps would match up with them pretty well if you went with the D4 model subs. A little over your budget, but if you check ebay you can pick them up cheaper.

That place is probably one of the cheapest places to pick up a quality wiring kit. You can go cheap on the amp and the sub, but don't cheap out on the wire. Otherwise you can damage the subs, amps, your electrical system, start fires etc.

Too add to what Kmac what saying, if you want to use the factory headunit you'll need to pick up a LOC (line out converter), unless the amp has speaker level inputs in which case you could splice off the rear speakers and use that.

Also cheap amp wise (Power Acoustik, Boss, Kenwood, Pioneer, etc), whatever its rated as you need to take about 1/4-1/2 off of it. That's what it'll do for clean power most likely. However, if you run one of their subs, you can match them up because they overate both of them. Also don't pay attention to max ratings, only look at rms. Max means literally nothing, just another selling point for them.
